3 Hat Stores to Visit in ATX SoCo

 Save if you’re a hat lover & will ever be paying Austin a visit!

These 3 South Congress hat shops are all within a few hundred feet of each other & have the most friendly/helpful people inside! Watch this quick video to come along with me for a walk through each of them!

1.) Maufrais 

More contemporary and sort of like build-a-bear for adults/hats.

Cutest coffee shop attached! Everything from modern cowboy to fulfilling your Lumineers dreams. Their vintage hat pins and gemstone collection are unreal! (*Ask one of the experts to pick which styles look best with your vibe/on your skin tone. Michelle is a gem!)

2.) Allens Boots

More traditional cowboy hats! You’ll be offered a beer, White Claw or tequila shot while shopping. Obviously take it!

Ask for @espis_hats — he’s an expert and the most kind/patient! (*Where I got my silver belly cowboy hat that has suddenly taken over my feed haha!)

Fun fact: the father of the owner of Maufrais owns Allen’s!

3.) Goorin Bros

An oldie but a goodie! They have several locations around the country and have a bit more eccentric + wider variety of hats available (think pink fedoras and sun hats and paper boy caps a la Ryan Gosling in The Notebook)
