Gua Sha Face Massage Tutorial with Beauty Expert Lauren Lancaster
Gua-what?
I met Lauren last fall at her make-up tutorial workshop in Los Angeles. She opened it with a lymphatic drainage massage that Iβve legit done every morning since!
Itβs a little self-care that goes a long way. (And if Lauren can do it every day with a booming business and 2 little boys, you can too!)
Not only does it drain out the toxins that pooled in your face overnight, but makes your cheekbones really pop! Natural contouring, you know?

You can use your fingers (I did for months!) or you can invest in rose quartz gua sha stones (on Amazon Prime, duh!). Thereβs a 3 pack (I got this one) that has different shapes or just the one square stone.

LAURENβS BIO:
Lauren wants you to have fun & feel your best!!
As a makeup artist and educator for over 15 years, Laurenβs passion first began at 14, teaching all the 7th grade girls how to do their 90's eyeliner, wear dark lipstick and wiggle on their mascara. Making all the girls feel beautiful and empowered. That passion eventually led to traveling across the US teaching corporate women their everyday makeup looks and the value of self care/presentation to their careers. It was an incredibly fulfilling time and foundational to her personal ethos and the next chapter of her career.
In 2008 Lauren took a leap of faith and her talents to Los Angeles where she broke into the "industry" for the first time and quickly found herself on sets for commercial & print advertising leading to signing at one of the top artist agency Art Department LA/NYC and work with brands like Nike, Facebook, Target and Urban Outfitters.
Laurenβs passion for makeup reaches beyond the products but rather the individual; inspiring women to embrace their own beauty & find joy again in doing their makeup. When sheβs not on set sheβs taking that very same passion and knowledge to her budding online community every week with makeup & skincare tutorials for her Instagram, YouTube & Tik Tok β
